The Hayes Close Parking Permit Scheme Changed From 1 April 2020

After several years of allowing their letter boxes to be used for posting permit applications in the Close the HCPL Directors now feel it is necessary to withdraw this facility, and therefore alternative methods of application submission will now need to be used.

The Directors have had to withdraw this facility as unfortunately, even though residents were asked not to disturb the Directors when posting their applications through their doors, they continue to get people knocking on their doors frequently, often at unsociable hours. There have even been examples of Leaseholders and/or their letting agents sending tenants round to the Directors properties to ask about how to apply for permits. You will appreciate that this is not acceptable, hence the need to change the process.

If you plan to submit an application by post please email us for a copy of the relevant application form.

It will no longer be possible to use cash to pay for permits, payment will now need to be made by cheque or BACS. If paying by BACS please ensure you add a reference to your payment which identifies you.

It continues that we will not be able to process your applications until a completed application form and full payment has been received.

To make best use of our limited resources we are also having to change the lead times for permit applications.

There will now be two set deadlines each month for permit applications to be submitted:

Monthly Deadline 1 - First Friday of each month.
Monthly Deadline 2 - Third Friday of each month.

Applications & payments received by these deadlines will be processed and permits will be available within 12 days.

Please plan ahead for your parking permit needs.

We already encourage Leaseholders who rent out their properties to hold some Visitor Permits for tenant changes, and to ensure that their new tenants apply for permits in good time, before they are needed.

Residents planning to change their vehicles are also encouraged to hold some Visitor Permits whilst their new permits are being processed.

Annual Resident Permits are valid from 1st April each year.
